Contest: Instagram Scavenger Hunt

So, are you on Instagram? Do you live in Southern California? Do you want to win 2-tickets to this year’s California Metalfest VI and prizes from G Pen, Merch Connection, Affliction Clothing and Rockstar Energy Drink? Well, if you answered yes to all those questions then this contest is just for you! We will be having an Instagram scavenger hunt every Saturday leading up to the festival and Instagramming clues about the location of the scavenger hunt throughout the week. Check out all the details after the jump!

SCAVENGER HUNTS ARE ON SATURDAY!

How it works:

Starting each week on Monday, will we Instagram one (1) photo a day hinting at what area this week’s scavenger hunt will be in. The possible areas include Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire and San Diego– we will hit each area once. The clues being sent out throughout the week should help everyone figure out where this week’s scavenger hunt will be. If you can’t figure it out, don’t worry. We’ll let everyone know!

On Saturday, we will start by Instagramming hints for the first secret location starting at 11AM PST. Anything from street signs and surrounding buildings to billboards and shadows. Once you think you’ve figured out the location, come and find the prize! The prize will be packaged in a G Pen Box with and 5” G Pen cutout acting as an arrow to mark the location. We’ll also have someone on site as well watching the prize and waiting to congratulate the winner when they arrive.

We will do this at 2-3 locations in each area every weekend.

California Metalfest is wrapping up to be one of the premier heavy music festivals in the nation, and we’re exited to team-up with G Pen by Grenco Science who will be presenting California Metalfest VI along with associates Merch Connection, ESP Guitars, Sumerian Records and Headbang for the Highway. We’re all looking forward to creating an experience that everyone will remember for a lifetime. On top of that, we’ve got some great line-up additions that I am sure will get everyone’s blood pumping. We’re happy to announce the addition of Of Mice & Men, Darkest Hour, The Contortionist, and As Blood Runs Black.
